Annual "THINKING CREATIVELY" Conference
April 4-5 2008
NJCN will be promoting members' work and the organization at
an expo table at the NJ Art Directors and Kean University's conference
Friday and Saturday, April 4th and 5th. This event is a world-class
design conference, on a boutique scale, promoting the value of
experimentation, innovation, and creative thinking and doing in the
workplace as well as in life. Presentations, breakout sessions,
exhibitors hall, and networking are all part of the two-day event.

LOCATION & DIRECTIONS:

1. We'd like an example of your work and your business card to promote
you in our new NJCN portfolio to be displayed on our expo table at the
Conference.
- Each member will have a 2-page spread. Pages have a black
background and are enclosed and protected by clear poly sleeves.
- Each spread will be laid out with the same format. It will
indicate: member's name, business name (if any), NJCN web site bio,
NJCN web site, member's web site.
- Your page has space to display:
1) an example, or examples, of your work to fit an 8 1/2" W x 11"H
area.
2) your business card
- You may submit a print of your work, a print of a layout of
several pieces of your work, actual example(s) of your work, etc. as
long as your submission is flat and fits into an 8 1/2 x 11 area. We
will attach the piece(s) to the page.
- Anyone perusing our Portfolio will not be able to remove your
sample. It will become a permanent part of our Portfolio, unless you
wish to update your example at a future time.
2. We also need a quantity of your business cards & promotional piece
(brochure, postcard, etc - 8 1/2 x 11 or smaller) for our table-top
literature and card holders.
Send as many cards and copies of your promotional piece as you like. We
will fill the holders, keeping your extras nearby to refill as needed.
After the Conference we will be happy to display them at other NJCN
events.
3. Your portfolio example, quantity of cards, and promotional pieces
must be received no later than Friday, March 14, 2008.
Any portfolio examples received later than
that date risk NO EXAMPLE of their work
being shown in the NJCN Portfolio at the Conference.
