SWAN Sets FreelanceFest ‘97 for October 22

October 8, 1997 — Northern New Jersey — A harvest of valuable insights and information is ripe for the picking at SWAN’s FreelanceFest ‘97 to be held on Wednesday, October 22. Past-president Phil Cantor and current board secretary Bill Cross will share their freelancing experiences with the creative professional community. The Self-employed Writers and Artists Network meeting, which opens with a networking session at 7:30 p.m., will be held at the Bergen Museum of Art and Science in Paramus.

Cantor, owner of Phil Cantor Photography in Montclair, and Cross, who heads Writing Solutions for Business in Upper Montclair, will cover successful business strategies for the freelancer and target winning ways to grow a business and manage a following of clients.

FreelanceFest ‘97 is sure to elicit thought-provoking dialog with the audience. Refreshments of the season will be served. The meeting is free to SWAN members and $7.50 for non-members.

SWAN, founded in 1984, is the regional business-to-business organization of freelance creative professionals, including writers, designers, illustrators, photographers, and multimedia producers.

The Bergen Museum of Art and Science is located at 327 East Ridgewood Avenue in Paramus. For directions and information, please call the SWAN hotline at 201-967-1313, or visit the SWAN Website at www.swan-net.com.
