The KAIROS Experience

One man at a time, 21 Leesburg prisoners rose and haltingly tried to define KAIROS to nearly 150 men and women from "the outside" gathered in the prison’s visiting room. Malcolm Jarvis, a giant of a man whose soft, shy manner belies his bear-like appearance, said, "For four days, we didn’t have an unkind word among us. We didn’t have an unkind deed among us. We didn’t have an unkind thought among us. If this is KAIROS, why can’t the whole world have it?" . . .
