The number of Camden City infants protected against infectious diseases has doubled in just two years, according to a report released today by the Camden Area Health Education Center (AHEC). In 1995, only 35 percent of Camden children were fully immunized by age 24 months. Today, that rate is a whopping 70 percent. Community health experts attribute Camden’s dramatic increase to AHEC’s new computer registry system which, when fully implemented, will capture, catalogue, and track virtually every small child in New Jersey . . .
